It is a legal requirement, under The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, for landlords to ensure they provide their tenants with a CP12 Gas Inspection Certificate which involves safely maintaining all gas appliances and flues.
Nationwide EPC can provide you with your certificate annually to make sure that you fulfill your legal obligations. You will receive two copies of the certificate, one for your tenant and one for yourself. The certificate takes around 30-40 minutes to complete and is carried out by one of our registered Gas Safe Engineers.
